ABOUT US

We are a small family business. We feel that over the last 30 years we have been very fortunate to have seen, for example, wild barn owls quartering a field looking for prey; or watched a short eared owl hunting. I have also been lucky enough to have had a father who not only was a fantastic naturalist with a wealth of information which he shared but also an original countryman from generations of his father his grandfather before him. What an apprenticeship I had! But we want to go a step further: we want all young children (and adults) in this day and age to be able to see these birds close up; to learn about the birds and, hopefully, to then go out to do two things:

  A) Go out and see these birds in their natural habitats.

  B) GET INVOLVED IN THE CONSERVATION OF THE BIRDS.

Every child and adult, if they so wish, should have the experience of seeing a barn owl in the countryside, to know about its habitat, its diet, its life, etc. or see a common buzzard or even take part in putting up a nest box for a Tawny Owl to nest in. These birds are closer than you think. Young children and adults just need to know where to look.

WE CAN AND WE WILL HELP AND THAT CAN'T BE A BAD THING FOR THE BIRDS.
